We all know how important nutrition is, but taking the time to fill our bodies with healthy, nutritional food can seem unsurmountable with the holidays coming soon, not to mention easy access to fast food, including frozen food, full of harmful ingredients.
Before you reach for that pre-Thanksgiving slice of pumpkin pie, or a basket of burger and fries, I ask you to consider other alternatives, especially for youth involved in sports. For kids who are looking for fitness for softball or fitness training for baseball, these three healthy, gluten-free options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner will give you the energy and nutrients you need to stay in the game - and win!
They're all gluten-free and super healthy so eat well and train hard with these easy recipes.
Breakfast
Begin your day with a healthy, gluten-free breakfast of two eggs, two rice cakes, and a banana smeared with peanut butter. This easy breakfast will give you the energy you need for Tampa baseball fitness training.
Lunch
Get going after lunch without feeling groggy with this easy turkey breast sandwich on two pieces of gluten-free whole grain bread and a slice of goat cheese.
